7 Interesting Facts About the Show ‘Wednesday’

The hit TV show Wednesday has been gaining attention since its debut in 2022. It stars Jenna Ortega as the titular character and follows her journey to uncovering the truth of a mysterious family legacy. 1. Jenna Ortega trained for months before shooting began. She worked with stunt coordinators and practiced parkour, fight choreography, and weapon work in order to prepare for her role as Wednesday Adams. She also learned how to play guitar from scratch during production!

2. The cast and crew filmed in a real-life abandoned hospital outside of Los Angeles for the majority of the series. The building was used as an active hospital from 1941 to 1985, and it has been empty ever since.

3. Most of the filming for Wednesday took place at night and lasted up to 14 hours per day. This meant that many members of the cast and crew had to adjust their sleep schedules accordingly and work hard late into the night in order to get everything done on time.

4. The production team brought in over 200 extras for some scenes, including teenagers dressed in period clothing to recreate a mall scene. They even hauled in vintage cars from 1950s era museums!

5. To capture the show’s eerie atmosphere, the crew utilized a unique type of camera. The Alexa Mini LF allowed for greater control over lighting conditions and special effects, as well as capturing more detailed footage of night shoots.

6. Many of the show’s props were handcrafted from scratch using old-fashioned techniques, including some furniture pieces made from reclaimed wood and vintage items collected from flea markets.

7. During filming breaks, Jenna Ortega would often spend time bonding with the other cast members by playing board games and relaxing in her trailer while watching classic films like The Goonies!
